Description of factory and business
It presents itself before a business of a factory with monopoly in Mozambique in the production
Poliestireno Expanded (ESP). This business basically consists of 1) selling its own business and its
equipment, in 2) space that is leased in the only industrial zone in the city of Maputo. This factory has the
production capacity of 5 tons in 8 hrs. And its average annual turnover is currently 13 million meticais,
with potential for 20 million. And a factory whose business units, encompasses domestic market and the
neighboring RSA, and other continents. The goods that this opportunity presents are 1) Expanded
polystyrene (EPS) for thermal and acoustic insulation;
2) Lightweight concrete that is used in construction to make slabs, fillers for leveling inclinations, thermal
insulation and acoustic insulation, 3) manufacture of refrigeration chambers, refrigerators for domestic
market, other factories that need refrigerating chambers.
Note that we have the monopoly of the polystyrene factory Expanding in Mozambique, so the purchase of
this factory represents a unique opportunity to enter the Mozambican market and dominate construction,
chambers and refrigeration sectors. Because for example an investment in the Construction industry with
light concrete has savings in expenses, on the order of minus 17% of the value compared to a block
construction.
